YES, all of the remotes, keys, fobs supplied and programmed by Canadian Locksmiths comes with a 90 day warranty. Within that 90 days if your remote, key or fob stops working because of manufacturers defects we will replace it for you no charge during regular business hours upon inspection and proof of purchase. If after the inspection it is deemed that the fault is not in the material provided by Canadian Locksmiths a $50 charge would be applied.

Yes we can but we don’t offer any warranty or guarantee or refund on any customer supplied material. Our service call and plug-in fee to attempt to program your supplied material is non-refundable regardless if the programming is successful or not. You are paying us for our time, not whether we are successful or not. These online low price keys and remotes have a high failure rate. We will not be responsible for any damage or loss from material not supplied by Canadian Locksmiths.

Maybe. If for example you bought a car remote online and paid $100 for it, that does not mean we will subtract $100 off of our rate to cut and program it. The reason is that people will find different prices from different sources. But what we will do is subtract our cost of that part off of the quote. But if you bought a part for less then our cost then yes, you would be saving money.

We don’t offer a “bumper-to-bumper” warranty on your entire car. Our 90 day warranty only covers the key, remote or fob we sell you. It does not cover frozen locks, dead batteries, a locked steering wheel, bad starter, bad fuel pump, bad alternator, bad ground, car not in park, wrong key, clogged fuel filter or empty gas tank.

That is no longer the case, Canadian Locksmiths has the tools, equipment and training to not only make dealer only keys but also in some cases faster and cheaper than the dealer. Plus you don’t have to tow the car to them, we come to you.

Canadian Locksmith is able to make keys for all cars with our multitude of methods and services. Our technicians have tons of experience in every aspect of the automotive security system.

For dealers that is the going rate. But we can cut and program all types of keys and remotes for up to 50% less than the dealer.

Once a key, remote or fob has been cut and programmed to your car it cannot be returned for a refunded under any circumstance. But our 90 day warranty does cover the exchange of your remote, key or fob if it stops working because of manufacturers defects upon inspection. If after the inspection it is deemed that the fault is not in the material or service provided by Canadian Locksmiths a $50 charge would be applied. If you would like to file a warranty claim for a key, remote or fob you must provide proof of purchase and contact Canadian Locksmiths within those 90 days. You must give Canadian Locksmiths first opportunity to make the repair to the car, key, fob or remote. Canadian Locksmiths will not cover any towing, diagnostic or other fees. Any warranty claim refunds will not be greater then the invoiced service provided.

All prices quoted are based on a stock OEM vehicle that has not been modified. We follow factory protocol to cut and program the key, fob and remote. But if the car has been altered we may not be successful. If the vehicle has had any changes made like the locks or any defects, worn or broken components the owner of the vehicle must divulge that information beforehand. If the vehicle has had any aftermarket components installed like a car alarm, auto-start, kill switch, interlock device etc. the owner of the vehicle must divulge that information beforehand. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Canadian Locksmiths of any modifications done to their vehicle prior to any work being done. Canadian Locksmiths is not responsible for any damage and offers no refund if the above conditions are not followed.

We offer free written, text, email and verbal estimates and quotes for parts and labour. But we do not come to your vehicle to offer free quotes, that would incur a service charge. To receive the most accurate quote text or email us the year, make, model, details and pictures. Written, text, email and verbal estimates and quotes for parts and labour are only valid for 30 days.

All prices quoted and advertised are based on the vehicle being located in Windsor, Tecumseh or LaSalle. We do travel beyond this boundary anywhere in Essex County and parts of Chatham-Kent but there is an addition surcharge based on the distance travel.
